Description

Lactic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that reduces surface cell cohesion and, therefore, inhibits the thickening of the stratum corneum. It helps regulate melanin synthesis and is useful in anti-aging therapies, promoting the formation of collagen and elastin.
